Cameroon Beach Cleanup Day 2025: A Resounding Success!

It was a picture-perfect day for change! For Earth’s Sake started 2025 by proudly participating in the 3rd Edition of Cameroon Beach Cleanup Day. The event was nothing short of amazing!

With the support of passionate volunteers, dedicated partners, and committed environmental organizations, we took action to protect our beautiful coastline from pollution, making a tangible difference for marine life and the environment.

Coming Together for a Cleaner Coastline

The event brought together an inspiring group of individuals who share a common goal: protecting our oceans and promoting environmental sustainability. Volunteers, community members, and partner organizations joined forces, demonstrating the power of collective action. From early morning until midday, teams combed the beach, picking up litter, sorting recyclable materials, and engaging in awareness campaigns to educate the public on the devastating impact of ocean pollution.

Nearly 200Kg of waste was cleared from the shoreline, protecting marine life from potential harm. This act inspired and encouraged observers to consider their environmental impact.

This event's success was made possible by the amazing volunteers of #TeamFES, who participated with enthusiasm and dedication. You are the core of this movement! We express our heartfelt thanks to our valued partners: Association for Community Awareness (ASCOA), Port Authority of Douala (PAD), Greenpeace Africa, and ASBED for the steadfast support and collaboration that was instrumental in making this event a genuine success.
